There was a Christmas Day aurora this evening which started with a moderate intensity green arc low in the northern horizon from 18:45 UTC (Images 1 and 2). Later in the evening there was a weak striated band overhead which I observed from 23:22 on the 25th until 00:15 on the 26th (Images 3 to 5). The aurora was still visible when I went home.
