A very weak aurora was visible tonight from (at least) 22:48 to 23:25 UTC, comprising a low rayed arc at about 15 degrees altitude in the north which was barely visible at all with the naked eye but could be seen slightly better by the camera. For a short while a second diffuse arc could be seen above the first, but it was extremely weak and only visible on the photographs. I did also manage to see several more Geminid meteors during my brief time sky-watching this evening.
