Aurora diary: October 18th 2018

I returned to Iceland this evening after a quick trip away. My window seat on the starboard side of the plane offered a good view to the north, and I spent much of the flight watching a weak low aurora arc. Just goes to show that even when the statistics suggest almost no aurora, there can still be something to see! Images taken out the window on a Sony RX100 point and shoot.
