A reasonably strong green auroral arc was visible in the north again this evening at around 20:00 UTC. Unfortunately it was very windy at my location and I only took a few record shots between 19:57 and 20:08 which are shown below (Images 1 to 4). Later in the evening at around 22:20 there was much stronger aurora visible to 70 degrees in the sky, with some dancing curtains of green rays.

Image 1. 19:57 UTC. Taken at: ISO = 1600, f/2.8 @ 14 mm, exposure = 12 sec. Looking north.

Image 2. 19:58 UTC. Taken at: ISO = 1600, f/2.8 @ 14 mm, exposure = 16 sec. Looking north.

Image 3. 20:01 UTC. Taken at: ISO = 1600, f/2.8 @ 14 mm, exposure = 15 sec. Looking north.

Image 4. 20:08 UTC. Taken at: ISO = 1600, f/2.8 @ 14 mm, exposure = 9.1 sec. Looking north.
